Dear Parent or Guardian: Texas law now requires school districts to distribute information to parents and guardians about the safe storage of firearms. The attached information will help you learn about options for, as well as how to talk to your child and others about, the safe storage of firearms. Remember, a gun should be stored unloaded in a safe or locked container, with ammunition stored elsewhere. This message is for VV Early College Parents of 10th Graders who are Re-testers for STAAR EOC in the areas of Biology, English 1/2, Algebra 1. Please keep in mind the testing schedule for STAAR EOC Re-Test happening the week we return from Thanksgiving Break. Please make sure your child is present for their examinations if they are re-testers. We wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving Break.!

VVISD Feast of Sharing - TODAY!
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and Administration, we invite our entire community to join us TODAY for our annual Feast of Sharing celebration!

📍 Where: Valley View High School Cafeteria

Join us for a complimentary Thanksgiving meal (dine-in, first come, first served), live musical performances on both our auditorium and outdoor stages, and arts & crafts for kids!

Important Reminder: For everyone's safety, bags and backpacks are not permitted unless they are clear or mesh.

Performance Schedule:
Please see the attached schedule for approximate performance times. Performances begin at 5:45 PM on the auditorium stage and 6:05 PM on the outdoor stage, featuring our talented students from all campuses including Tigerettes, Tigresses, Mariachi Sol De Oro, and Conjunto "La Garra Norteña."

World Kindness Day- Wear White on Thursday!

In celebration of World Kindness Day on Thursday, November 13th, students and staff are invited to wear white to symbolize peace and kindness. Let's all join together to spread positivity and kindness throughout our school community. Thank you for your support!

ECC 9th and 10th grade students were invited to participate in our annual Career Fair happening this Wednesday, November 12th. Parents/guardians, please make sure your child is present all-day Wednesday so they get to experience exposure to career options and the many networking opportunities.

ECC will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from Monday, October 27 to Friday, October 31. Each day features a fun dress-up theme to help us stand together and say NO to drugs while showing off our school spirit and commitment to healthy choices.

ECC 2nd Six Weeks Testing is happening the entire week of Oct. 27th-31st. We encourage all students to be present for testing and closing of the cycle grades. Note: On Wednesday, October 29th, all students will be reporting to a testing site ALL Day. There will be no traveling from High School to ECC on Wednesday, Oct. 29th. All ECC students must report to ECC no later than 8:10am daily. Thanks.
