With support from the Texas Workforce Commission Youth STEM Grant, Valley View students participated in a two-day Welding Camp at South Texas College. Students learned safety protocols, welded in the shop, and explored industry careers. The district, in collaboration with our educational partners, has used the funds to provide meaningful, real-world experiences in STEM fields.
