Every year, Ms. Sanchez organizes the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, introducing students to various Hispanic cultures. She invites individuals from different nationalities, and this year, a Venezuelan guest was featured. Mr. Nerio Urdaneta, who owns a food truck selling Venezuelan cuisine, shared his journey of arriving in the U.S. and starting his business. He also spoke about Venezuela, highlighting its beautiful tourist spots, and encouraged students to visit his homeland. Mr. Urdaneta prepared tequeños, similar to "cheese sticks," along with chicken and cheese pastelitos, and served a refreshing maracuyá drink, known as passion fruit in English. The students enjoyed the food and had the opportunity to listen to the Venezuelan accent.
